Don’t tell the Queen but the Duke of Edinburgh thinks wind turbines are useless

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, doesn’t much like the wind farms that are dotting the English countryside. In fact he says they are “useless” because they rely on subsidies. And you still need an alternative source of energy when there is no wind.

Ironically the Duke and his spouse stand to score many English Pounds when off-shore wind turbines start spinning.
