The President wants to be able to look you in the eye and declare that whatever you believe to exist does not exist, even if it does. He wants to go from plausible denial to absolute lie. The Obama Administration wants to change the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) rules to deny existence of documents that it feels would be a threat to national security if revealed. This would conveniently bypass any judicial review of FOIA requests. Now I feel that our President believes that any threat to his re-election is a threat to national security. Therefore he could deny the existence of any documents he damn well pleases. Even his most apologetic rag, The Los Angeles Times, believes he has gone too far. Nixon was an amateur trickster compared to our current President.
