I was dreamin’ of the past… September 2001

I wrote this review of the Roxy Music concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in August 2001 when we were all happy-go-lucky.

Just after September 11 in 2001, I saw Roxy Music in Berlin. As Bryan Ferry started to sing “A Song for Europe” I lost control of my feelings. I wept throughout this haunting tune of lost love. The flood of emotions from the previous week just overwhelmed me.

“There is no more time for us. Nothing is there for us to share but yesterday.”

Thanks to Roxyrama for keeping my reviews alive in their archive.
